Job Title: Entry Level Draftsperson - PD1

As a draftsperson with Centex Homes, you will have the opportunity to be an important part of the process to help fulfill families' dreams of owning a home. Your career will begin with focused, intensive training and hands-on experience.

A draftsperson is required to draft all aspects of residential working drawings (floor plans, exterior and interior elevations, electrical, sections, details and structural components), as well as redline mark-ups and block out conceptual plans. Revisions to existing plans and details are also required of this position in addition to field verification of plan compliance and construction methods.

A draftsperson should be able to communicate well and work in a team environment within architecture and other departments. A person in this position should be able to effectively manage his or her time and be able to handle multiple projects with direction from the management staff. This position will report to senior level draftsperson and the architectural manager.

This is an entry-level position. No previous work history required.
